Ellis County Emergency Services District No. 10 will hold a meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 506 E. Sycamore Street, Bardwell, Texas 75101 to consider adopting a proposed tax rate for tax year 2026.
The proposed tax rate is $0.10 per $100 of value. The proposed rate would increase total taxes in Ellis County ESD No. 10 by 0.27%. Visit Texas.gov/Property Taxes to find a link to your local property tax database on which you can easily access information regarding your property taxes, including information about proposed tax rates and scheduled public hearings of each entity that taxes your property.
The 86th Texas Legislature modified the manner in which the voter-approval tax rate is calculated to limit the rate of growth of property taxes in the state.
Unless otherwise noted, ESD #10 will meet in the boardroom at the Bardwell Volunteer Fire Department.
